Columbus Day Weekend! Apples, Pumpkins, Picnics & Music!

This holiday weekend will be full of fun and activities at Drew Farm and it even looks like the weather will cooperate (at least for Saturday and Sunday).  We will be picking McIntosh, Cortland, Macoun, Empire and Golden Delicious. We will have free tractor rides to and from the orchard, orchard-side roast-your-own s'mores, pony rides, and pumpkin picking. Our scenic orchard picnic area will be the place to be on Saturday, with a special music event by Dave Gerard and the Acustic Truffle (1 pm-4pm) (https://www.gerardtruffle.com).  On Sunday, we'll be grooving to  Lukies Fortune (https://www.facebook.com/LukiesFortune/).  Your entrance fee is covered by the purchase of a bag for apple picking.

Unlike many other pick-your-own operations, we provide you with a traditional New England-style apple picking experience, meaning our orchards are open to you to wander and enjoy. Finally, the fall colors are coming on so the views from the top of the hill are stunning.  Our retail area is stocked full of hardy mums of all colors and sizes and plenty of fresh picked apples for quick sale (this weekend we will have McIntosh, Cortland, Macoun, Empire and Honey Crisp). No apple picking event is complete without fresh apple cider donuts, fresh pressed ice-cold apple cider, Drew Farm root beer, and water. We hope you can come and enjoy a special day with us; you won't be disappointed! Check our facebook page for updates (http://www.facebook.com/DrewFarm?sk=wall)

Spring 2017

It is with great disappointment to announce that we will not be opening our spring and summer greenhouse business this year. Unfortunately, there is simply too much competition from larger, local operations for us to continue.  We hope that our loyal customers understand and will contact us if there is something specific we can help with. On the positive side, not running the greenhouse will provide us with the time we need to continue to make significant improvements and expand the orchards.  We are currently planning to open Drew Farm Labor Day weekend, September 2, with fall plants and apples.

Don’t forget, apple blossoms are the signature flower of Westford and you are welcome to walk through our orchard during bloom.  Keep your eye on our website (www.drewfarm.com) and facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DrewFarm?sk=wall) for dates.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It was a great Pumpkin Light at Drew Farm!  We want to thank all that came out and a special thank you to all that carved and helped with the event-we couldn't do it without you!

We are thankful for a great year, in spite of the frigid temperatures in April.  We are looking forward to a great pruning season and we hope to see everyone next fall!

ITS HALLOWEEN! THE PUMPKIN LIGHT WILL BE MONDAY, HALLOWEEN NIGHT!

This weekend will mark the close of our 2016 season at Drew Farm.  Although there is no more apple picking, we will still provide free tractor rides through the orchard so that you and your family can view the beautiful fall foliage.  The fire pit will also be roaring, if you would like to roast your own s'mores one last time in our picnic area.  Our retail area will be abuzz with activity this weekend!  Lukies Fortune will be playing for our retail customers and pumpkin carvers on Saturday.  We still have TONS of pumpkins left for you to choose from, as well as fresh apple cider donuts, cider and Drew Farm root beer.

Our annual Drew Farm Pumpkin Light will be Halloween night. This is a Westford tradition that has now spanned generations.  Come after dark and enjoy hundreds of jack-o-lanterns that are spread through the orchard in a walk that is out of this world!  This is a free event for the public and our way of saying "THANK YOU!" for a wonderful fall season.  Note: the parking lot does fill up so please be patient, go around the block and come back.

THE APPLE PICKING IS OVER BUT NOT THE FAMILY FUN!

The 2016 apple picking season has come to an end - thank you all who came out to enjoy picking in our orchard! We greatly appreciate your patronage.

The fun has not ended, though! This weekend we will have free tractor rides to and from our picnic area and pumpkin patch.  Our pumpkin patch is full of pumpkins of all sizes for you to chose the perfect one for your decorations or for carving.  In the picnic area we hope to bring you live musical entertainment both days, but we'll have to see how the showers go on Saturday; Sunday for sure! We will also have our fire pit roaring so that you can picnic to music and roast your own s'mores. Megan will be joining us again both Saturday (weather permitting) and Sunday with Top Hat and the ponies to provide rides through the orchard trees.  Our retail area is also packed full of great pumpkins of all sizes and shapes, fresh cider donuts (while they last!), ice cold apple cider and root beer.  Remember, when you purchase your pumpkin from us, you are supporting our annual Pumpkin Light on Halloween night!. So, even though our apple picking is over, there's plenty to do to have a great fall outing. Hope you will join us!  Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates throughout the weekend (www.facebook.com/DrewFarm).

The fall foliage around the orchard is spectacular - come and enjoy it!

A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND AHEAD AT DREW FARM!

Apple picking is coming to a close for the 2016 season.  With a light crop and the drought, picking has been limited. In the orchard, Lukies Fortune (Saturday) and Paducks (Sunday) will be entertaining you in our picnic area, as you enjoy the spectacular fall foliage surrounding the property.  From the top of the hill, you can see fall colors stretching across the Merrimack Valley. We have TONS of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch for you to choose the perfect pumpkin for carving.  Remember, when you purchase your pumpkin from us, you are supporting our annual pumpkin light that is free to the public on Halloween night.  The fire will be roaring so that you can roast s'mores in the orchard.  Megan will be joining us again both Saturday and Sunday with Top Hat and ponies to provide rides through the orchard trees.  Our retail area is also packed full of great pumpkins of all sizes and shapes, fresh cider donuts (while they last!), ice cold apple cider and root beer.  There's plenty to do to have a great fall outing.
