This is the weekend that marks the peak of apple picking season. The apples are bountiful and perfectly ripe, the leaves are turning and the temperature is perfect for you and your family to come to Drew Farm for a traditional apple picking experience. This weekend we will be picking McIntosh, Cortland, Empire, Macoun and Golden Delicious. Our pumpkin patch is clean and safe, and a great place for precious family photos. The orchard-side fire will be blazing so that you can roast your own s’mores and enjoy a picnic in our beautiful picnic area to the sounds of LukiesFortune (Saturday and Monday) and Highway 31 (Sunday). Megan will also be offering pony rides! As always, we will provide free tractor rides to and from the orchard. There are plenty of apples down low for the kids to pick.
Our retail area is stocked full of packed apples: Macoun, McIntosh, Cortland, Honey Crisp. We also have a fresh stock of mums, pumpkins, cider, cider donuts (while they last) and Drew Farm root beer. Help support our free annual Pumpkin Light on Halloween by purchasing your pumpkins from us! . Our orchard is on a hill and the views are spectacular!
